Prince Gautama Siddharta, the founder of Buddhism "Christian: One who thinks the New Testament is a divinely inspired book admirably suited to the spiritual needs of his neighbor." Ambrose Bierce "A man can no more diminish God's glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word, 'darkness' on the walls of his cell." C.S. Lewis "I do not consider it an insult, but rather a compliment to be called an agnostic. I do not pretend to know where many ignorant men are sure -- that is all that agnosticism means." Clarence Darrow "Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction." Blaise Pascal |
